Of the 213 people living in Smithfield in 2020, 43.2 percent (92) were women and 56.8 percent (121) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Louisville News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 14. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10 females and six males.
