The Louisville Cardinals (1-1) will look to improve their record tonight as they take on the UFC Knights (2-0).
The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Cardinal Stadium and will air on ESPN.
The Cardinals have a 39.5 percent chance to win against the Knights, according to ESPN's Football Power Index.
ESPN’s Football Power Index lists Louisville with a FPI of -0.4 (71st overall), whereas UCF has a rating of 6.3 (35th overall).
The Cardinals downed Eastern Kentucky last week, 30-3 after dropping the season opener to Ole Miss, 43-24.
The Knights are coming off a 69-14 victory over Bethune-Cookman after downing Boise State in the season opener, 36-31.
Offensively, the Cardinals are led by quarterback Malik Cunningham who has thrown for 469 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Cunningham also has four rushing touchdowns. Running back Jalen Mitchell leads the team with 139 yards rushing and wide receiver Ahmari Huggins-Bruce leads the team with 169 receiving yards on six catches.
Defensively, cornerback Kenderick Duncan has 16 tackles and cornerback Kei’Trel Clark has two interceptions.
Louisville will be favored in four of their remaining games on the schedule (Boston College, Syracuse, Duke, Kentucky), according to Bill Connelly’s sports prediction model.
