Citizens for Hopkins issued the following announcement on Jan. 7
Kentucky State Police reports three Dawson Springs residents were arrested Monday night following a traffic stop along East Keigan Street.
Trooper Ridge Porter was on patrol at 7:25 p.m., when he saw a 1993 Cutlass Oldsmobile fail to signal during a turn, according to the report. The trooper made a traffic stop after seeing the vehicle travel on the wrong side of the road.
The driver, identified as Stephanie Clark, 28, was charged with traffic violations in addition to no insurance, DUI (second offense) and open alcohol beverage container in vehicle.
A passenger listed as Antony Clark, 25, was charged with public intoxication (excludes alcohol), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine-third offense or greater), menacing and providing the officer with false identifying information.
A second passenger, identified as 52-year-old Debra Clark, was charged with public intoxication (excludes alcohol).
