City of Carrollton issued the following announcement on Jan. 7
NTTA TRAFFIC ADVISORY
The following closures are needed for maintenance activities on the President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT):
Wednesday, January 8, through the morning of Friday, January 10 (Nightly)
The westbound I-635 to westbound PGBT direct-connector ramp will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, through the morning of Friday, January 10.
Detour to westbound PGBT:
Drivers will take the MacArthur Boulevard exit and turn left onto southbound MacArthur Boulevard and continue to State Highway 121 (the PGBT frontage road), where they will turn right to enter westbound PGBT.

Message boards will be placed nearby to alert motorists of the closure.
All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
