CITIZENS FOR HOPKINS: Owensboro officials, KSP investigating fire involving 2 injured

Citizens for Hopkins issued the following announcement on Dec. 27

Authorities are investigating a house fire that injured two people early this morning off the 3900 block of Kipling Drive in Owensboro.

Owensboro Police Department reported officers responded 1:10 a.m. to assist at the scene. Two members of the household are in the hospital receiving continued treatment for smoke inhalation.

OPD Investigation Unit, Evidence Collection Unit, Kentucky State Police Arson Investigation and Owensboro Fire Department are still working to determine the cause of the blaze.
