Citizens for hopkins issued the following announcement on Nov 21.
In observance of Thanksgiving, the city of Madisonville Public Works Department will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.
Thursday’s trash and recycle routes are scheduled for pickup Wednesday, while the Friday after Thanksgiving routes are set for Monday, Dec. 2, city officials reported.
