City For Hopkins issued the following announcement on Nov 6.
Four people were reported injured during a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening at the intersection of Island Ford Road and Island Park Drive in Madisonville.
Madisonville Police Department preliminary traffic report lists officers responded 6:22 p.m. to find a 17-year-old of Madisonville was driving a Nissan Sentra northbound along Island Park Drive, and failed to stop at the intersection.
Charles Greenwood, 55 of Madisonville was driving a Ford Explorer northbound on Island Ford Road, when the crash occurred. The Ford struck the Nissan on the driver’s side, according to the report.
The unnamed juvenile driver, Greenwood and two passengers identified as Linda Hawkins, 66 of Madisonville and Sheril Arnett, 55, were taken to Baptist Health Madisonville via Medical Center Ambulance. A 7-year-old of Hanson was listed as uninjured.
Madisonville Fire Department, Jeff’s Towing and All-American Towing assisted.
