Citizens For Hopkins issued the following announcement on Sept 28.
Two people were taken to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment following a two-vehicle crash at Brown Road and Castleton Drive.
A Madisonville Police Department preliminary traffic report lists officers were called to the scene at 1:47 p.m. today.
James D. Ramage, 77 of Madisonville was driving a Toyota Camry and had turned onto Brown Road from Castleton Drive, according to the report. Beverly Evans, 57 of Sacramento was heading southbound in a Chevy Malibu along Brown, when Ramage turned into the path of Evans, who was struck in the front passenger door.
Evans and a passenger with Ramage, identified as Theresa Ramage, 80 of Madisonville, were transported from the scene for treatment of injuries, MPD reported.
Madisonville Fire Department, Medical Center Ambulance, Jeff’s and Timbo’s towing assisted.
